Bought 30sh BP@ $54.03
I have been recovering from my IndyMac crash. Well here I am again. Today it is BP. It has been beaten down all the way to 2005 lows. At 54 I believe there is a potential for this stock to start turning up.
Sold 50 sh TOL @ 23.35
Another successful trade with (TOL: 20.14 +1.92%). Small one, but nice one.
Bought 1000 sh IMB @ 4.16
This is a bold move. Buying 1000 shares of beaten down (IMB: 0.00 N/A) IndyMac bank? Short term it screams for buy. Next quarter release around May 10, 2008 should be better, plus I think a nice gesture from CEO Michael Perry deciding to cancel Option to Buy 1 Million Shares should give this stock a lift.
Sold 50 sh WFC @ 29.52
Ink barely dry on my (WFC: 28.98 +0.31%) purchase order and I am selling already. Yes, after the Q1 release and a big daily jump I decide to pull the trigger. I am going to let it stabilize a little and then take a second look. Right now I am pretty happy with the percentage gain. It would look much better on 100 sh, but I can’t complain. I will be back WFC!
Dividents GHS $80 (400sh $0.20/sh)
(GHS: 0.00 N/A) is down these days, dividends are down 50%, but even with these bad news 400 shares is paying $80, which at these prices is 13.50% yield. Not bad I would say. I am keeping GHS for a little bit longer time.
Bought 50 sh WFC @ 27.25
And one last stock I bought is (WFC: 28.98 +0.31%) Wells Fargo. It is bank and it will report on 4/16/08. I know what happened with (WB: 0.00 0.00%), but WFC is one of the best managed banks I know of, and I think it will surprise with the report. Everyone is expecting the worst, what if the worst is behind us. Let’s move on!
Bought 50 sh GE @ 31.95
I went on shopping spree today. Among things I bought is (GE: 16.49 +1.35%). Yes I have read the release, but GE is still a great company and I believe it will shake off this quarter and move one. I did not get chance to buy it back in March 2008, when it was in low 30’s so I am grabbing this opportunity and I am going to run with it.
Bought 50 sh TOL @ 21.80
And again I am back in (TOL: 20.14 +1.92%). This time I am committing a little less money. The indicators are only 50% in my favor but I am keeping my in on TOL. Let’s see what is it going to do now.
Sold 300 DHI @ 17.13
My selling saga continues. It is not a joke even thou it is April 1, 2008. (DHI: 13.09 +1.00%) reached $17 again, so I decided to pull the trigger. Third time is the charm as they say. I broke even on 300 shares I sold. I still have 200 shares left with a nice profit, I am going to keep them and after 31 days I might reenter the trade again.
Sold 100 sh DELL @ 20.171
I am a little bit tired of (DELL: 14.18 +1.21%). It has done nothing from the day I bought it. I thought it will move a little bit, but it looks like it is on some kind of enchanted path around $20, so I decided to exit it. I sold it for a minimum loss (did not calculate the price correctly) , so I can’t enter the trade, it would trigger wash sale. I am giving it one month to prove itself.
